VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FOCUS GROUP ON CHRISTIAN SEXUAL ETHICS – SUNDAY 21ST MAY

Sunday, 21st May

Upstairs at the Loft – 12:30-2:30pm.

Refreshments provided.

Judith Tatton-Schiff who attends IGB is a student at the University of Wales Trinity St David, studying under the supervision of Prof Lisa Isherwood. She is also an ordained United Reformed Church (URC) minister.

As part of a PhD Theology research project, Judith is looking for Christians from all perspectives, traditions and sexual/gender identities, to take part in a focus group that take place just before IGB’s Sunday gathering.

Discussion will focus on how we make our own (sexual) decisions, what rules or frameworks we follow, what issues perhaps we struggle with and what we feel is most important for a “Christian” relationship.

This will be “safe space” – we’ll all agree ground rules, especially around confidentiality. No audio or video recordings will be made. There will also be pastoral support made available.

If you would like to take part or have any questions email judithtatton@gmail.com.
