Southside Community Litter Pick (hosted by IGB)

July 30, 2023
03:00 pm - 01:00 am

July 30 - 03:00 pm

June 28 - 01:00 am

Upstairs at The Loft

On Sunday, 30th July we’ll be hosting a Southside Community Litter pick (in lieu of Inclusive Gathering Birmingham’s usual Sunday afternoon gathering at the Loft).

This is a great way to show a bit of love to our community in Southside.

Meet in front of the Loft at 3pm and we’ll let you know what to do!

Afterwards, we’ll be meeting for drinks at the Loft from 4pm (whether or not you’ve been picking with us!) and then there will be an option for those who would like to to head to Centenary Square for the Birmingham Festival.

The Big Fatt Dance Party (hosted by Fatt Projects) will be taking over the stage at 5:45pm, so we’ll aim to arrive for that.

We’re a diverse, justice-seeking, LGBTQIA+ affirming church for ALL based in Brum’s Gay Village (City Centre). We’re a community learning to practice God’s radical love & inclusion the best we can.
Our largest worship gathering happens on the 1st Sunday of each month and will also be livestreamed to YouTube. Our other Sunday gatherings tend to be lower-key, centred around spiritual connection & conversation.
We’ll have friendly people and signs to point you in the right direction – you can go straight upstairs via the entrance under the Pride House sign, or go through the main Loft entrance to take the lift upstairs.
The Loft is in the heart of the Gay Village. It is fully accessible and a short distance from New Street Station and city centre Bus Routes.
For those who may be driving in, you may be able to find free parking on the street (as it is Sunday) but you can also pay for parking at the Arcadian. If you haven’t already, please do check that your vehicle complies with the clean air zone (or you may be charged).
If there is anything we can do to make it easier for your to join in, please let us know!
