New Inclusive Church - Birmingham

Birmingham Town Hall

Birmingham, United Kingdom, B1 1

One of our core values as an emerging church is Service + Justice. We want to partner with other religious and secular organisations to seek the common good of Birmingham.

We’re really new and so we’ll be exploring what that commitment looks like for a while. One possibility is becoming a member of Citizens Birmingham, an alliance of organisations working together for systemic change.

On 7 March, you are invited to attend a gathering of Citizens UK. Please read the invitation below, from one of the Citizens leaders. Note that you will need to sign up using their Eventbright website link.

New Inclusive Church folks will meet at 4:30p outside the Town Hall and then sit together. This is a chance to see and explore one way that we might engage in social change and justice as a congregation.
Dear friend,

Doors open: 4pm | All seated: 4.50pm | Assembly: 5pm – 7pm

Last month, Birmingham was announced as the 2022 host of the Commonwealth Games. Delighted with the news of this great sporting and cultural opportunity coming to our region of the UK, we will be hosting a celebration event as our Spring Assembly for 2018.

On Wednesday 7th March 2018, 5pm – 7pm in the Town Hall, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B3 3DQ, up to 1000 people from across the region will be coming together to congratulate and celebrate the news of the impending arrival of the Games.

Amidst joyful celebration, powerful testimonies and cultural performances we will seek pledges from the Bid Team and their partners on a set of people’s guarantees raising aspirations which benefit communities.

Rooted in what matters to our families and civil society, Citizens UK cordially invite you to join our member institutions and guests from across the region at this major ticket only event in the Birmingham Town Hall.

The evening will not be a public meeting nor a political hustings.
