On Pancake Day (16th February) we’re hosting a Pancake-Making Party on Zoom.

We’ll make pancakes TOGETHER from our own kitchens and have a series of challenges, (virtual) prizes and general hilarity.

Feel free to join in (even if you don’t fancy making your own pancakes … buy them from the shop. We won’t judge!)

We’ll share some recipes for different types of pancakes in the chat (crepes, gluten free, vegan and even AMERICAN … shock, horror).

You can also get some pre-made (add water) pancake mix from Asda for as little as a pound. If you need help getting ingredients and would like to participate, email newchurchbirmingham@gmail.com by 5th Feb and we’ll get them to you.

Prizes will be awarded for …
*Highest pancake flip
*Largest unbroken pancake
*Most unusual pancake filling (that you are willing to actually consume
* Most impressive pancake design

(and any other obscure categories we come up with between now and then).

It would be fab to fill our Zoom screens with pancake production … so all are welcome (but you must be logged into Zoom to access the party):

About IGB…
Inclusive Gathering Birmingham is a diverse church gathered together by a common dream: to become a truly inclusive faith community, where doubt and difference are a welcome part of our journey together.

We are a learning community, constantly growing and changing to live out this vision in new and expanding ways.
When we say “inclusion”, we mean much more than mere tolerance or welcome. We believe God wants us all to know that we actually belong. That means people of every race and ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity, age and background, HIV status, ability and disability, theological and political conviction are loved, invited, and fully included.
