LGBT+ History Month Zoom Session – Reflect & Connect

The Theme for LGBT+ History Month in 2021 is ‘body, mind and spirit’ and you are invited to a light evening where you can brush on your LGBT history knowledge and be aware of those who have paved the way for greater inclusivity.

David Shipman will be sharing information about the Five Heroes of 2021, recognised as making progress on LGBT inclusion in History. He will also be focusing on the journey of LGBT rights in the U.K. and abroad.

Everyone is welcome, all faiths or none.

There will be a 25 minute presentation and then a 30 minute discussion afterwards.

David teaches in the West Midlands and has a theological background in Church History and Jewish-Christian relations.

His school have been on the forefront of equality for all students, reaching national attention with their own Pride Day in 2019 and are currently celebrating LGBT History Month.
