Inclusive Gathering Birmingham meets upstairs at the Loft on Sunday afternoons at 3pm.
This is our ‘all-singing, all dancing’ first of the month gathering, as we have started calling it!
Danielle will be talking about Radical inclusion: God’s big, beautiful idea. God draws people from every tribe, nation, sexuality, gender identity, ability, disability, HIV status, class, neurodiversity, socio-economic or educational background, belief or unbelief. Yet, when we try to build communities that reflect this kind of multi-faceted diversity and intersectionality, the truth is, many of us struggle to live it out in practice. What is radical inclusion and does it have limits? What does this mean for us at IGB?
Join us for for music with the full band, open table communion and of course cake! We’re livestreaming this one to YouTube, too.
We’re a diverse, justice-seeking, LGBTQIA+ affirming church for ALL based in Brum’s Gay Village (City Centre). We’re a community learning to practice God’s radical love & inclusion the best we can.
Our largest worship gathering happens on the 1st Sunday of each month and will also be livestreamed to YouTube. Our other Sunday gatherings tend to be lower-key, centred around spiritual connection & conversation.
We’ll have friendly people and signs to point you in the right direction – you can go straight upstairs via the entrance under the Pride House sign, or go through the main Loft entrance to take the lift upstairs.
The Loft is in the heart of the Gay Village. It is fully accessible and a short distance from New Street Station and city centre Bus Routes.
For those who may be driving in, you may be able to find free parking on the street (as it is Sunday) but you can also pay for parking at the Arcadian. If you haven’t already, please do check that your vehicle complies with the clean air zone (or you may be charged).
If there is anything we can do to make it easier for your to join in, please let us know!
