IGB Covid Workshop: A Shared Space for Getting to Grips with the Guidance & Risks

We’ve realised that with guidance and news changing so often, it would be most helpful to hold a space where we can talk openly, ask questions and learn together.
As we consider what it looks like to ‘gather’ together as a church community, we are also each having to consider how we manage our own risks and fears as individuals.
Thankfully, Dr Rachel Handley works in Public Health and is ALSO a part of our Inclusive Gathering Leadership community. She’s going to be hosting a Zoom workshop for us on Wednesday 7 October. All are welcome to join us as it will be a useful time of learning whether or not you are a regular part of our IGB community.
Our time will be Rachel leading us through …
1) A quick summary of what we know about the virus and what we don’t
2) A summary of the guidance for individuals and also places of worship gatherings
3) A framework for talking about risk and how to think about it as individuals and as a group
4) Time and space for open discussion
Rachel will share the slides and links to any useful resources at the end.
