You are invited to join us for our monthly ‘Unplugged Worship’ and Bring & Share Community Meal. You can sign -up to bring something via https://mealtrain.com/58777y but if you aren’t able to, don’t let that stop you from joining us!
For this gathering, we’ll start with some unplugged acoustic worship music followed by a look at Jesus’ countercultural view of ‘blessing’ in Matthew 5. We’ll have some interactive discussion around tables about how some of Jesus’ ideas connect with us and where we are headed as New Inclusive Church. There will also be some creative/ contemplation stations around this theme that you can dip in and out of (or choose as an option if table conversation isn’t your thing). Then we’ll sit down around a big table and share our meal together. Our Bring & Share meals are a great opportunity to connect with people at NIC and get to know others a bit better.
We meet at the Church at Carrs Lane TWICE a month (once for a worship gathering (with music, stories and cake) and once for a lower-key ‘unplugged’ gathering with a Bring & Share meal and some optional worship activities (like this one). We also hosts smaller meet-ups throughout the month. ,
