UPDATED DETAILS! Would you like to join us at Birmingham Pride this year?
We are weeks away from Birmingham Pride on Saturday 24th September.  On the day there are 2 meeting points for you to arrive at, the main one will be Starbucks Colmore Row at 11:30.  Our second meeting point will be Carrs Lane Church at 10:30.  We will share short prayers at Carrs Lane before leaving at 11:15 to head to Colmore Row.  Once we have assembled as one group we will head to the main Pride meeting location on Centenary Square, to leave as part of the procession at 12:30.
It would be great if you could sign up here if you are planning to join us, this is not mandatory, please feel free to turn up at either meeting point on the day, if we have more people than our allocated number our LGBTQIA+ friends will be given priority to march.
It’s worth bringing rain jackets and sun cream to be prepared for any weather.
Please speak to Danielle or Adam Rock for more information.

Whatever church or faith community you are part of, you are welcome to join us in celebration and affirmation of LGBTQ+ folks and the gift they/we are to communities of faith, spirituality and justice.

We would love you to wear your purple Christians at Pride T-shirt if you have one (you can order one here – there will be just a few available to borrow on the day).

If you are clergy please do wear your clerical clothing. You can add some rainbow bling to your Pride outfit of course if you’d like (or wear something else if you’ve got a fabulous Pride outfit you are planning).

If you have a sign/ placard with the name of your church or group on it, each church or group is welcome to carry one of those (whether printed or home made).

We’re looking forward to seeing you Pride Weekend as we celebrate the joy and blessing that LGBTQ+ people are to our city and how deeply loved LGBTQ+ folks are by God and by us.
Happy Pride!
