In light of the current surge of Omicron, we thought it would be helpful to share a quick note about Covid safety at our gatherings, particularly in January. It’s helpful to remember that each of us have different ways of reacting to situations like these, and regardless of how we feel individually, being in a community means being mindful of the people around us and being sensitive to one another.
We ask all who attend our gatherings in person to wear a mask (unless exempt or eating) and we will have Covid safety measures in place (including distanced seating, ventilation and serving pre-packaged snacks).
In line with government advice, we also encourage you to take a Lateral Flow test at home before attending events if this is possible for you.
Of course, if you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of Covid, please do stay at home.
And for anyone who just feels more comfortable participating online via Facebook Live, please do!
We have also re-scheduled our Winter Weekend (originally scheduled for the end of Jan) to 7-8th May and scheduled a short outdoor meet-up in its place to include those who could use some personal connection but are more comfortable meeting outdoors. More details about all our upcoming events can be found here.
